🎮 Logic Heist — Privacy Policy

Logic Heist is developed by Stackbit. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle information when you use our app.

Information We Collect

Logic Heist uses Firebase Anonymous Authentication to create a random anonymous user ID. This ID is generated automatically — you never provide any personal information to use the app.

We do NOT collect:

Your name
Email address
Phone number
Location data
Photos or media
Contacts
Financial information

How We Use Information

The anonymous user ID is used solely to:

Save your game progress locally
Enable group leaderboards
Sync scores across sessions

Group Leaderboards

If you choose to join or create a group, the display name you choose and your game scores are stored in Firebase Firestore and visible to other members of your group only.

Your display name does not need to be your real name. You can leave a group at any time from within the app.

Data Storage

Game progress is stored locally on your device. Group leaderboard data is stored in Google Firebase Firestore. All data transmission is encrypted using TLS.

Third-Party Services

Google Firebase — Authentication and database. Firebase Privacy Policy

Google AdMob — Advertising SDK (currently disabled). Google Privacy Policy

Data Retention

Anonymous Firebase accounts inactive for 180 days are automatically deleted. Local device data remains until you uninstall the app or clear app data.

Children's Privacy

Logic Heist is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Your Rights

Clear all local progress: Settings → Clear Progress
Leave any group from within the app
Uninstall to remove all local data

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at this URL.
